The thing I have to question is this: How in the world were they able to get a room full of people that are still undecided? My God, in the name of sanity, how can anyone vote for W? Unbelievable. No wonder the rest of the world laughs at us.

I'm really hopeful this one will go the right way...it would be difficult to imagine that the majority of people aren't ready for change...but, unfortunately, you never know.
This time is near folks...GOTV! (get out the vote, for those of you who aren't devoting your life to politics right now) :D

So this may not be the most popular opinion, but does anyone else feel though, that we sort of have a dumb and dumber thing going on...that's how I felt the last presidential election too. Its as though we always have to choose between the lesser of 2 evils. Now I'm not one who really likes to talk about politics, but its 3am, I'm amped and have been out all night, so I guess the combination is just bringing it out in me!
I have been trying to devise a secret plan to abolish the 2 party system in this country. That is what sucks! I can tell you that neither one has even probably 70% of the same beliefs that I do about government...that may not make sense, but it does to me...lol...point being, that I don't agree with either of them on a LOT of things. It would be nice to have a real selection of candidates so that we could choose someone who best represents our beliefs, instead of compromising. I know a lot of people who vote on one issue or on just a few...if we had more choices then we would have more options and issues to work with. There are a whole host of political parties out there that are not allowed to "play" with the others (for example they are not allowed at/invited to the major debates) and are unable to be seen and heard because we have a crappy system.
Wow! Now that was a bit of a rant! That's my political talk for the month...don't expect it again any time soon! lol

I agree with you Steve...we gotta "clip the Bush"!!! Kerry is confident. Bush is just a hick to me, he needs to go back to Texas (no offense to anyone) he talks the same shit, we don't wanna hear how hard it is to run this country, we know this already Bush! I lived in Florida the last elections and voted for Gore...I hope my vote makes a difference in Pennsylvania this election! Peace n' luv peeps

ABBY>>>>Your post was one of the more intelligent ones I have seen in terms of really calling our choice what it is....the lesser of two evils.
We live in a society where 98 percent of all media is owned by a handful of conglomerates, no wonder there is no room for a third view!
The same point that Dave was making in one of his press interviews about the music industry not wanting to take a chance applies here as well.
Howard Dean would have NEVER been more than a poor man's Nader, had it not been for the INTERNETS....
Get out and vote, people, and I double dog dare you to take it a step further, make an INFORMED choice in every election, no matter how trivial, I myself make a point to write myself in when a candidate is unopposed, and it would have only taken 3000 to put me on the same ballot as Ahhnold, and Bill Walton's son!!, and Gary Coleman,
think globally, act locally!
