Frances the Mute! Yep, grabbed it yesterday and it is amazing to say the least. I'm actually listening to it right now. Go out and get it if you haven't!

Funny, I´m listening to the same two records at the moment - the new QOTSA (very good but in my humble opinion no "Songs For The Deaf") and "Frances The Mute". "FTM" is just overwhelming. You should check out the "Comatorium" as well - excellent album!! Gonna see The Mars Volta live tomorrow night in Cologne!
Can´t wait to hear the TPC record!
Take care
LL
Ditto on "Comatorium". I got the CD before a road trip over a year ago and MON DIEU! it rocked. Took a few listens just like Nothing's Shocking to digest.
AHhh I cannot wait to get FTM! Love the Mars Volta.
Sorry to say, but I'm going to have to disagree about Queens of the Stonage. Saw them a few years ago at the V-festival in England and, eh. They were aight. Not spectacular or wonderous, just ok.
Steve, i've been wanting to ask this for a while now...have you got any other demos? I love the Moving On demo and would love to hear more! Just a thought.
Cheers ; )
I'm there with ya FTM.... hokey fookin shiat! Daymn boy... I know who TPC needs to tour with now! Great great great album... I'm loving the return of epic fucking rock.

What?! Is this the new album cover? What's "FTM" ? Perhaps I'm being dense -- it's too early in the morning.

Mike, that's the album cover for the Mars Volta's new album "Frances The Mute".
Still yet to hear it but gathering from people's reviews it kicks ass.

Having not heard the Mars Volta, I am now inspired to check them out...
QOTSA have definately got my vote though, I love Songs for the Deaf.
Oh yeah, here's something that made me laugh a lot today:

So what did you think of the CD. I was about 10 minutes too late and they had closed Tower Records.
But for sure I'm getting it tonight!

For a second i thought that the second round of guess-the-60's-london-gangster had started up early.....
Kept his gun in quiet seclusion, such a humble man.
