Giving Up The Ghost

I am getting ready for marathon web design attack until Monday. G is going home for the Easter holiday, and I am staying here to get the site ready. Have a few bottles of Coke Blak, the cats have enough food so I dont have to unnecessarily venture outside, and I have cleared everything else off my schedule to get into a mind-damaging 4 day work sesh to get thepanicchannel.com ready.

Some links, perhaps?

Making a cake using Cadbury Creme Eggs instead of Eggs

for real, though... horizontal stripes?

Some Ali G ... and why not.

Programmable Beverage Containers

Cats + Tape = awesome

Oh sweet golden magic, it just gets better and better: "omg you have no idea how much i love your music its soo...inspiring!!!! omg im obsessed with this song and im soooo totally going to call the radio stations to tell them about it! its awsome!! keep up the good work!"

...but then again, it's no Snakes on a Plane Quote Tracker...

yeah, I got misty, too. Ok, I said it.

Ha Ha Ha America.

aww, that's a shame after inspiring me to change over..

looking forward to the site

okay i used IE before but now i think im with steve on this.

what the fudge is this new security thing they have installed on my computer? EVERY activex control now needs to be clicked on in order to work. even the simple things like the banner at the top of daves site!

as soon as i have finished here ill be switching to firefox.

if i set a fox on fire will it provide me access to the internet???

Steve-
You have to check out this Firefox Ad video. You may have seen it already but i felt it was appropiate considering the subject. Looking forward to hearing the new music.

sorry about the double post i forgot to add the link.

Now there is also another reason to ignore IE or push for its disappearance, arent they going to stop making updates for MACs? which adds another wrinkle to the plan.

as a designer and webmaster, it is by far the biggest pain to have to deal with all the browser incapadibilities.

First thing , love the new layout. I have a wide screen laptop , the site looks great stretching itself like a content cat across my screen!
Second thing fuck you for makin me all misty too!(i mean that in a friendly way of course)
Third thing, cant wait to see the site, i'm hopin you connected well to that which has shown itself to you ... ^i^ peace

Sorry to have rained on the liquid parade...

the activeX controls thing is the result of a lawsuit against Microsoft. Apparently, the old way ActiveX worked was infringing on someone else's patent, and Microsoft is trying to win the court case by showing how removing the patent-violating code will cripple tons of IE-centric pages (rather than say, paying a licensing fee for the technology). Software patenting causes lots of issues.

Hey Steve,

I've been noticing that when a comment is posted, the page doesn't reload with the new comment visible (at least not in FF on my windows machine). Just something for you to do in your abundant free time (sarcastic) . . . Can't wait to see the panic site.

-Andrew

Thank you for the gift.

Waiting for "Snakes on a train 2 - Trains on a m'fo snake"

a Cadbury Creme egg cake sounds like it would be really good. But I can't believe he threw the chocolate shells away!!

Have a happy Easter Steve, everyone

Hope all is going well...
I miss your great parties!
Hope you guys come to Buffalo!

I was watching the outsider clip tonight.. and it actually reminded me of your link to the "horizontal stipes" link..did you ever bother to see beyond her outer shell and listen to the voice that was offered? Some people disguise themselves, some people will always be an outsider because that's what they have been given...maybe she's that blur easily ignored, but at least she fucking tried, does her outfit really make her? Are you that shallow? WWJD...oh sorry What would Joseph (Campbell) do?) Bleh, have a good time on the road, I do look forward to seeing you all....

This is an outrage! I herad you guys on XM and it sounds like the vocals are swimming in Anteres Autotune. Knowing from personal experience that wasn't nesecary, what's up with that!? Tune sounded good.

Whew! that was close! after I heard the song on XM that previously had been mistaken for you guys, I found out that the band I was actually listening to was a gang of chumps called Panic At The Disco. If the DJ didn't say anything, I wouldn't have known. No wonder it didn't sound like you, Spooky. I'm out surfing around looking for your tune. unfortunately, I'm on a palm pilot right now so I can't listen to shit. those fucking readouts on XM ready car radios suck. mine only displays 10 characters. I stand corrected. Drop me a line sometime if you are so inclined. I'll be watching the stores for the record. P. S. congrats on landing the gig!
