The Panic Channel.com v2

Last week we got the new Panic Channel website launched. I will be busy over there getting all the stuff we have ready to get online posted, but soon as that's all good and solid, I'll be back here and into my posting rhythm. If you haven't checked it out yet, please do.

site looks great, good job. Love how right on the main page you got the logos for your site, Spread Radio, and Dave's site, as well as the MySpace. Killer job branding everything Panic

Isaacs, your lots' site is looking RAD! Kudos dude.

the TPC site (is that redundant?) is wicked. One of the sweetest looking sites I've seen in awhile. Got my tix for the D.C. show today... can't wait man... any chance for a meet & greet pre or post show??? U mentioned to me in the past when we spoke once about having relatives in Delaware...expecting anyone at the show!? Thanks for keeping thing's HIGH-tech and mega digital...

Steve-I wake up this AM. Get a cup of coffee, pick up the "Reader" and a few pages later, there you are. Congrats on who ever did the concert annoucement photo layout. Looks sweet.

Hello! We're going to be Chicago at the same time (May 31). Me with Monty Python's Spamalot at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. I've got tix for your show at the Double Door. Running to your show after mine. Any chance of meet and greet after?

Steve, what am I to do? I've been mentioning my plans to go to your shows to people and you know what the ladies keep asking me? "What about that Steve Isaacs, he's hot! Does he have a girlfriend?"
I dunno man, are you prepared for the title of 'chick magnet'?
Posted by: mortisha8 | April 27, 2006 10:32 PM
Very happy things are starting to roll... It seems like it took forever...but everything's now OK.
Posted by: Mike | April 28, 2006 02:19 PM
Dude, I'm sorry but you try to hard and you blow.
Posted by: JONsey | April 29, 2006 11:44 AM
No need to be sorry, JONsey... and I think you mean that I try too hard and I blow...
Posted by: steveisaacs | April 29, 2006 11:03 PM
actually steve, i think what he's trying to say is that "you try to GET hard".. classic case of broken english. i see it everyday.
which leads me to believe "you blow" may actually be "you brow" leading to possibly "your brow"? though what he's trying to say about your brow i can't even guess..

I am stoked for the tour to begin. See you in Boston and Atlanta!
And bringing a few friends for the Panic onslaught!

Hey steve, have been following the site for ages. I've just heard that you guys are going to do an Xbox Live thing... Does that mean I get to play against you guys and that?
My gamertag is Brown Bread so if you fancy a game, I'll be there dude.
Posted by: Brown Bread | May 2, 2006 10:08 AM
can't wait to see the rest of the cover art.
And if you didn't blow, you would fill up with air and float away - and we wouldn't want that now, would we?

Sometimes I try two hard and blow. Sometimes I blow hard to try. Sometimes I hard to try blow, too. But I try hard not to do blow. Sometimes I hardly blow two trying. Too many two blow hard try to. Blowing hard try to not too.
Sorry.

Anyway Steve I added your profile on Xbox Live so if that's OK... It'd be sweet if I could play you at PGR3, I'm not very good so you'll probably win. So, er, yeah, if you fancy an easy win... etc...

Steve, it's Brad. I've been trying to get a hold of you. If you want me to fix the board, let me know, I can.
Posted by: Brad | May 10, 2006 06:51 AM
GUTTED! I missed you on Xbox live by 10 minutes..... *sad smiley face*
Posted by: Brown Bread | May 11, 2006 02:17 PM
Steve,
You are almost unfailingly respectful to your fanbase.
That is so appreciated.
You seem like a genuinely thoughtful person and it's refreshing and thank you. :) You have entirely won over an oldschool jane's fan (whatever THAT means haha) and I am so happy you are involved in this project - it would NOT have been the same without you - not the music, not the site, not the old PC board you and Joe ran, none of it.
I hate posting shit like this, it always looks like ass-kissing, but I MEAN it!
I can't NOT comment when someone's grown on me SO much like you have.
See you on the 6th!

Steve,
I so want to hear you sing Listen. It's such a beautiful song. I haven't heard a song that has gotten to me emotionally like that in awhile! Great tune! Have fun on tour! Woot!

Hey steve, you may not remember me from 98 99 or so but I made one of the first skycycle fan sites back in the day when ones and zeros was still being recorded. Anyways, a friend of mine (a friend of yours too*) was filling me in on everything I've missed since I moved back to the midwest and I was very excited to hear your doing a new band! I've been waiting forever, so good luck and best wishes and hopefully ill catch a show soon.

Where have I been and why haven't I read your blog before now?
Damn, I feel like I have totally missed out on something.
If you are even 1/10th as kind and intelligent as you read, I would say you are quite special.
Thank you for the great read, the fun links and most importantly...the music! Your show in Scottsdale was incredible. Do come back soon.

This reminded me of a "Steve" type link. Haven't had any goodies lately, so I thought I'd share with the class =)

Hey Steve, great job at 9:30 club last night. I was in front of Chris in the black "Jane Says" shirt if that rings a bell. Come back soon, I hadn't seen a kick-ass rock show like that in so long.
Posted by: Dakota | May 25, 2006 03:28 PM
The site is great!! I'm really looking forward to getting the CD in August. I'm sorry I couldn't make the 9:30 club to see you guys! I'm already a huge fan!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I am just a little disappointed that you have not posted one update since ya'll hit the road. I have been a regular reader of your blog since July of 04, (if my memory serves)but have never posted. Don't get me wrong I can only imagine how crazy it must be for you right now, but Dave has taken some time to post. I guess I am just a little bummed. I just know that this must be an incredible time in your life and would have really liked to hear about it in your words from the road.

Steve said the other night that he's been really busy doing things on thepanicchannel.com(because he runs it) so he hasn't had time for posting here.

The new site and board rules! And so did you guy's last night in boston! Thanks for being so nice to me! YOU ROCK like no other!
Posted by: Beantown Bitch | May 27, 2006 01:30 PM
Perhaps, I should have just said, "Steve, throw me a bone! Can't wait to hear you!" That's all I meant.

I'm loving the irony of the title for the third clue!
Good old irony...

I just had to swing by and tell you how great you sounded in SF last night. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical since all I had heard of your voice was the studio recordings and those can be doctored up hella. Anyways, the power of your voice and your effortless way of bellowing out those power notes totally blew me away. AND you are such a great front man because you totally engage the audience. Looking forward to seeing you guys again in the fall and of course getting my hands on the album come August! Have a great show tonight...

Just wanted to say that despite having a white ghetto mobile, if it hadn’t been for the taxi cab… we so would have smoked you guys. Anyhow my stupid camera kept shutting off every other second but I still managed to get a couple shots. I like how this one came out http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=162933145&size=l
I’ll work on some more later tonight. You guys were amazing!!! My friends loved you guys. Especially Karina a.k.a. the screamer.

Awesome show in SF Steve...I was just completely mesmerized and it went by way too fast!
You are the real deal for sure...can't wait to hear more!!!
Have a beautiful day :)

I love the fact that you worked for MTV when I use to watch it. I use to worship that channel's late night tv...but when it lost the word Music in TV by airing nothing but crap I stopped watching. Good luck with the new album and you and your girlfriend take beautiful pictures.
