Stephen Hawking says we'll need to get out into space to survive in the next 100 years because we'll destroy the planet.
Space.

Comments
it's very true about the space thing. we are our own worst enemies when it comes to the down fall of our existance.

Not be cynical (well, actually, to be cynical) . . . if we move to space, we'll continue to destroy the entire universe.

My English Prof went to Cambridge University w/ Stephen Hawking, the guy lived right below him in the 'dorms'....he is brilliant! Anything he says is probably true. I absolutely defer to his immense knowledge and wisdom. I love your random links Steve! :)
Now please tell us you are gonna be playing in San Francisco again this fall. There are tons of clubs to chose from!
Here is a question...is there gonna be a dvd released that celebrates your spring 2006 tour?!

Don’t pollute the space with humans!
…For these who are going to leave the planet – remember what is written on the cover of the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy: DON’T PANIC! :-)

Steve, since you're a big fan of Dubya I thought I'd share this over here.

I love what Taylor says on his myspace about Chaney:
"After finishing most of the songs we decided we needed the best bass player in town to glue this shit together. Enter Chris Chaney. You need rock? Call Chaney. You need Afro Cuban fusion hip hop? Call Chaney. You need bass on your dog food jingle? Call Chaney. I think you get the picture. Chris came in and finished the bass for the album in about a day."
He IS a Monster !!!
Can't believe TPC ONe only cost me $14.99......!!

Not a Space or political comment but since the Ask a Question is closed:
Where might someone find Skycycle's cover of "God Only Knows" for her listening happiness. Seems Ones and Zeroes was never really released and now is worth a prettier penny than someone can spend on it.

on Banksy...
why does this bother me? perhaps it is because it seems cowardly to me how he's gone about creating his "art"-ful comment on Paris Hilton. Yes, she's pathetically privileged, but still: stealing her cd's and tampering with them instead of creating his own from scratch? I don't know...I was wondering if it reminded me of Robin Hood stealing from the rich or not. Any thoughts? Maybe I'm too purist.

I think Toby should've won. Anyone that'll shed their britches on national tv deserves to win, plus he WAS the better singer, and Dilana wears the wrong kind of eye shadow, and Lukas' voice is gravelly, and...and...
This isn't the right blog for my post, is it?

Oh no....let's not encourage the ruination of the entire universe....other generations might still get some use out of it if we keep to ourselves here on Earth and deal with the bed in which we lie...
Come back to SF and hold my hand again...release some solo stuff...

Come back to SF and hold my hand from the stage again in true rockstar fashion...release some solo stuff...and take good care and take smiles whereever you find them : )

Morning Steve and fellow refugees!
It's so nice and peaceful over here, thanks for the great links, Steve.
Here are two for you:

Maybe if you guys do a Halloween show you can dress up like that? BTW, 5 of us, Deena, Peebs, Duffdiver, Kristen and I, got Borgata tix for Jan 31--can't wait!
Have a great day, all.
Love,
Sue
