Ya know, it's like my dog might be ugly and I might joke about it but it's my dog and I can say what I want. Don't you dare say that my dog is ugly. You don't have the right.

Mitchel, your dog isn't ugly, he's fugly!

I believe everyone should have the right to say whatever they hell they want, it doesn't mean they always should but they should be free to do it even though many times I wish I had a gun with corks to shoot at people….

At my work the people that should be talking aren’t and the people that need a few corks in their mouth run rampantly without. Go figure. Maybe if the people that should be talking made their voices a little louder we wouldn’t be stuck with the people that need a few corks in their mouths. I’m just saying

I think the Bloody Mary lyrics are hella good. In fact my best friend stole a little of it for her Lit class thesis. She said that the main character in our current novel had plastic toys and 'plastic friends.'
When she read it to me, I started busting up laughing... she was like, "thank you, Steve Isaacs!" hahaha. That really is a GREAT line.

Can't wait to see Carson tonight!

Seriously outside of the calling Bush the "Devil" comment I think Chavez was off his medication.

Except where he was going to hand out home heating oil to the poor, I was almost down for that. (I pay $366 a month on the "budget plan", I wanna know on who's budget and who's plan was that based on)

Hey Amber - Carson is tomorrow night...even though the show starts after midnight which will technically be the 22nd, it's not on until Friday night.

"The devil came right here... And it still smells of sulfur today." I love that! Sounds like a tagline for a movie!

He's only speaking the truth. No harm in that.

right on steve....i brought something of this nature up on a thread in the asylum and got a lot of hell for it...if only people could keep an open mind..if only

Steve-I watched the whole speech. I loved how he held up a book by Noam Chomsky...and told everybody to read it.......

Have a great weekend......

To each their own...

Ha! As if Chavez wasn't also the devil! That's rich...it's like they say: corrupt latin american 'dictators' living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

dude fucken brilliant at the carson daily show.

Hmmm, do we now get to call democratically elected latin american leaders 'dictators' if they are left-wing and like winding up Americans?

I must have missed a memo...

Steve - You did an AMAZING job on Carson last night. You were so captivating. It's funny...I adore DN, but I found myself watching you when there were wide shots w/ all you guys in it. You totally kept my attention.

Your vocals on Left to Lose were so great...and I think ditching the guitar was a great move for you. I mean, the sound gets a little thinner, but your stage presence definitely makes up for it. JMO ;)
GREAT JOB!

If anyone has a vid from the Carson Daly performance, please post a link! I missed it (damn sleeping thing) :(

Steve, we miss you, hope you're have as great a time as it seems!

Hurry and let us know about a Fall tour...

Love,
Sue

If this comes to your area - it is well worth the gallery display.

Here we go....as Americans we have the luxury of voting every four years for a new president. Regardless of who is chosen, half the country hates the person in power. Right now, Bush is the leader and the punch line for the next two years. What I hate is this, when did it become ok for us to accept or enjoy a psychopathic dictator calling our President the devil? If you are an American citizen, when did you stand behind a psyco who's only enjoyment is to see our country implode? It's not just Bush, Chavez is calling the Devil...it's us...You may not like Bush or his politics but I'll choose freedom before fear anytime. Anyone who feels different needs to apply for a greencard to Venezuela. I don't give a rat's ass if Chavez wears Prada and George is in searsucker. I'll pick the idiot over the psycho ANY DAY! Just an opinion...like assholes...there are a lot of them..some are just bigger than others.
