Ron Burgundy Trifecta
It's been a mercilessly fucked up week. From all sides. Look out!
Duck!
Everything rotates, everything changes. We all are changing every second. It still hurts though when some of the larger changes take place.
Seems that almost everything has undergone some kind of major painful shift recently.
Let's just watch some various Ron Burgundy footage to numb ourselves.
Stay classy...

Steve,
Could you oblige me here? Are there any recordings of your work with the Tommy gig?

sheeeeeeeeeeeeet Steve! You ain't kidding! There has been a load of screwed up stuff (some minor, some major) for almost EVERYONE I know this week including myself.
Must be some strange shift in the planets or something effecting everyone on Earth.
Let's hope it passes and we are all headed for better days.

I 3rd the shit happening thing...but it's still good to be alive...

I'll 4th that. Holy hell this week was bad. But you're right, Mike, it's nice to be alive. And there's nothing quite like Ron Burgundy to remind us of that. ;-)

Pardon my rudeness! Sorry to hear of the crap week - may your life stressors ebb instead of flow. It sucks when the higher being decides you're the whipping boy of the week. Good karma sent your way!
Posted by: Gels | October 15, 2006 08:06 PM
aww, that sucks, sorry to read that you had a bad week. :0(
May your next major shift be positive and painless.
Take care of yourself and stay real.

"Go Fuck Yourself...."Ron Burgundy. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ARE YELLING ABOUT!!" Brick
Okay I will stop quoting lines but it is funny to think about especially on a Monday where it is rainy here.
It's all going to be better Steve. We all support you here and just enjoy what you have brought to us. Thank you for entertaining us and keep that head up fella.

Are you and G ok? I see that your "status" on your MySpace profile has changed to "single". /sigh I'm sorry if you 2 are struggling if that is the case.
I know it is NONE of my business, but just wish you well.

hey man, roll with the mother fucking punches dude. shitty happenings always make me try harder, dig deeper and start thinking in a more fucked up and artistic way (that is usually after i have gained the strength to pick myself up). i've seen your power live, u have a gift. keep kicking some ass and fuck all the bullshit. take care steve

Steve, hang in there, you're strong--you'll work it all out. Glad your sense of humor is intact.
Love the pumpkin at the top of the page.

let's see- shit dies to live another day -got it! after nearly 5 months of living under the rock of mayhem & emotional state, i can empathize. "Think about the places perhaps, where a young man could be
Then you jump back down to the rooftops
Look out over the town
Think about all of the strange things circulating round" thank you Mr Bowie!

I think we need a universal group hug, my life lately has not been so great as well... But I have to keep on going...Hang in there....

wow....bad week! Me too....I think it was the friday the 13th...That was a HORRIBLY bad day. Time changes and it really bites. But, hopefully the tides change and turn for reasons that will make things better or at least have an interesting lesson learned. I hope you have a better week. Keep a smile on, and hopefully it will stick.

Dear Steve,
It sounds like the world and your own world are kind of changing at the same time.
You have given us so much,I just want to encourage you to feel it,live through it and then decide what to do with it.
Your lyrics are amazing and will carry on in people's hearts longer than you can ever imagine(like Keats-melancholic romantic poet)look how long his words have stood the test of time.!!You are like that --so in tune---you are our man of the hour and many hours to come.
Whatever it is --know that you have at this exact moment in your life become sooo important to so many people--you put so much out there and lay yourself so bare--I don't even know how to thank you for that.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers--Shelley

I just finished watching "Trapped in the Closet" with the commentary and I just have to say thank you...I didn't think I would ever find anything as funny as Trapped in the Closet, but you were right, watching R.Kelly watching it is beyond hilarious. So whenever things are shitty, just remember
"some people are so into the story that they don't even realize that I'm rhymin' all the way through."

Upheavals have been taking place all over lately. I'm sorry to hear that even a positive, good hearted, sweet chap like you has been hit by them so hard. The Corn Dog Man is a must see indie flick that will continue the numbing effect and add a little distraction if so desired. Check it out....be strong, and know that we all support you 100%

My world is all yin and yang right now. My week was seriously fucked up, too. And then I had a killer weekend to balance it out.
I hope you find your balance, Steve.
