Steve,
How did you know that I fucking needed it? lol. I hope you have a great Christmas and that Santa brings you everything that you want! You deserve it. By the way. I saw a mini Ouija board on a key chain (that actually has a planchette)and it made me think of you.

I hope that Santa brings you everything that you want this year. You deserve it. By the way, I sawa a mini Quija board key chain (with an actual planchette) and it made me think of you.
Happy holidays!
Aloha...
Remember back in the day, before VCRs, DVDs and TiVo, when you would actually have to wait for your favorite Christmas special to be on television? A Charlie Brown Christmas... Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer... How the Grinch Stole Christmas... Frosty the Snowman... The Year Without a Santa Claus.
Back when you would watch the calendar, then the clock, filled with anticipation. Curled up on the couch, sipping cocoa, eagerly waiting for that last commercial to pass.
I miss those days, a time before we just had to push play.
Happiest of Holidays, Steve! Wishing you all the best in 2007!
It's not that I don't love technology, and having all of its offerings at my fingertips (all hail YouTube!) I was just reflecting fondly on my childhood for a moment. A Charlie Brown Christmas will do that to a girl!
Thanks, Santa Steve. I really did need that, especially since I work in retail. I do love me some Linus van Pelt. And best wishes to you and yours this holiday season as well. I hope Santa's good to you this year. :)
Steve,
Merry Christmas! May you find peace and love this season. You give so much and we DO appreciate your insightful wisdom, dry humor and life's observations. Here is a story that nails what the Christmas spirit is all about: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/16023431.htm
For those that don't believe in Santa, I challenge you!!!!
Awwww...Thanks Steve, I did fuckin need that. What fond memories watching that as a kid. Hope you have a Merry Christmas, Steve and the rest of the gang here. /hugs!

WHEN WILL IT END?!!
First CBGB's and the Continental, now Avalon (formerly Limelight).
Pretty soon there won't be a single venue with history or character left in NYC.

As soon as they start singing "Christmas time is here..." my eyes start welling up.
There's a little CB in all of us (though as Linus says "Lucy is right, out of all the Charlie Browns you are the Charlie Browniest").
Happy Holiday's Steve. May 2007 be a healthy and prosperous year!
