Solo Acoustic Show Tonight at The Dragonfly

Tonight I'll be pulling out the acoustic guitar and playing a little solo acoustic show here in Hollywood at the Dragonfly (6510 Santa Monica Blvd). It'll be Steve's choice - a couple of my songs, a few covers, and most of 'em bummed out love songs. Don't say I didn't warn you.

My friend Frankie Palmer will be playing before me at 9:45 (actual time), please come check him out - he's really great. The show is 10 bucks, but if you send me your name before 7pm (in the comments is fine) I'll put you on the 5 dollar list. Cya there!

Have a great time Steve! Days like these I really wish I lived in LA...but then reality hits....lol..but i'd love to visit

have a good show.

I WISH I WISH I WISH I WISH I WISH I WISH I WISHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You've got a voice that sticks n can't get enough of!!!!

PS. Although I can sympathize with your views on winter in Perfectville - I'll give you a day in my shoes and you would bow down and kiss Perfectville gratefully!!! I guess we can all find things to be unhappy with in our lives ... some more than others!

Wanna do a switcheroo ;) hahaha

Damn. I really wish i could come..
Well have a good time anyway.
Love, Anna

Hey, I'm sure you already give us as much an advance notice as possible, but I just wanted to say, please give us as much an advance notice as possible!

I hope you had a great show. Hopefully someone got some video, or maybe even some pictures.

Wish I coulda been there. Anyone got any photos or comments on it? Who went?

The show was really good. Steve did an Eliott Smith song, one of his songs ("Pink Snow", I believe), Jeff Buckley's "Lilac Wine", "Sally's Song" from Nightmare Before Christmas, a song called "Fireflies" from Planchette (which was really really good and made me more desparate to hear the rest!), and my personal highlight: Chris Cornell's "Disappearing One". I might have missed one, but I think that was it. You did good, despite what you think, Steve - can't wait for more...

I'm soooo SAD!!!! A friend and I were in LA this weekend to see our friends play at the Whiskey! We would have changed flights to see you perform!!!!!!

I'm very very sad now. That would have been awesome to see you play, and not in a big ole stadium which is where we will hopefully see you when you sing with TPC. sniff....if you do anymore shows, please post early!! =D

I hope it was an excellent show!
d

Jeeeeez what more do you guys want?!

;)

Dude this is random, but were you ever on Scrubs?

What a great selection of songs. Jeff Buckley and an another song from Planchette... I've always thought that Steve should cover a Nightmare Before Christmas song. I'm jealous of the people who got to go to the show. Please tell me someone recorded at least some of it...
