TPC Final Tour Dates
We go on tour in 2 short weeks. Really excited to get back on the road. The first show is in Miami, then we work our way back out West with jaunts up to Canada. Can't wait to see Vancouver. Also Montreal and back to Toronto. I have a Canadian Curiosity you could say.
Other stops I am eagerly anticipating on the six-week trek are: New York City (of course), Miami (never been), Colorado (see the folks), Phoenix AZ, then back home (almost) at Long Beach Arena.
Starting to pack and get my mind into mobile mode. Can't wait to be on my way.

Hope you like Canada. Vancouver is freaking beautiful (when I went to Whistler, I cried and was speechless, but that could be beacause I'm way too emotive), Toronto is like any US city and Montreal (my fucking place) is different, you'll see. There's more than igloo (lmao), beer (Molson baby) and hockey (Go Habs go!) here ;-)

Nice picture from outside the Avalon(I never did say this but it was an awesome show and the best chemistry I've seen in a band). It's lame that they are turning the avalon into a small mall of shops.
Have a great tour. I regret that I won't be able to make it.
Thanks for a great musical 2006. With the Avalon show and (ONe) I had a blast.

I don't like that fact that you used the word "Final" in your title. ;o)
I'm hoping to make it Milwaukee if the planets and stars all line up correctly. I want a Panic Channel show w/no SN!

Austin TX would have been a great stop for a "TPC only" show. May have to visit Dallas then.
It's all good, but Austin would love you guyz.

When you say "final" do you mean this is the last tour/shows for TPC? Cuz that sucks if thats so! You guys made a great c.d. & I wanted to hear more music. Even thou you would most likely hate my band TPC were are huge influence.

Dammit, I didn't want to say "emotive", but "sensitive" sorry. Consequence of speaking multiple languages.

As you're quite the photographer and seemingly a Renaissance man, here's a "signt-seeing" recommendation.
I believe you'll only be in Milwaukee for one day (lucky man) playing at the Eagles. I'm assuming you never had a reason to visit the city before. But in case you have a spare moment or two... check out the building that houses the Milwaukee Art Musuem. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava. (Features the Burke Brise Soleil, "a sunscreen that can be raised or lowered creating a unique moving sculpture." The "wings" are opened and closed each day at noon for visitors' enjoyment (weather permitting).
Here's the url of MAM:

I hope you have a wonderful and safe tour.

So Steve I come home from work yesterday and find a large manilla envelope behind my door. The return address is N. Vine St Hollywood CA. I open it up and FINALLY Crapitol sent Sue,Kristen and myself the "goods" they promised us 5 months ago for throwing the NYC listening party in August.
It's not everything they promised us mind you (they promised us CD singles and they weren't included) but at this point I won't complain. I complained to that chick enough. I'm tired of email complaining to a intern.
So my point is you are disappointed in Crapitol, we are disappointed in Crapitol. They are equal opportunistic disappointers! ;-)
It's left a bad taste in my mouth but would I do it again for you guys? IN A FREAKING HEARTBEAT. We did it because we wanted to, because we love you guys and we love the music. We wanted to get as many people into it as we were.
Not because we were promised stuff from the recorded company (though receiving free stuff is always a plus). But the aggravation to get it 5 months after was a pain in the ass. After the first month it became a quest. Then I was relentless. :-D I wasn't going to say "fuck it" maybe because the way they have treated the band also had something to do with my persistence.
Anyway....see you on the 26th!! A few weeks away!

Hi Steve,
I hope you have a blast with the tour. I totally miss seeing you guys onstage. I wanted to try to go to atlanta but right now I'm not even sure I can make LB. I'm sure a lot of those rockstar fans don't have a clue whats coming. Rock their pants off.

spooky...have a great tour. you need it and deserve it.
play "loophole" when no one expects it.

Posted by: -m- | January 6, 2007 07:32 PM
Well, don't book any flights to Atlanta Wendy-show is cancelled, according to ticketbastard, and not on the official list. Fuck. That sucks. I'm just spoiled, I guess, and pissed cause I have no funds to travel anywhere else to see a show, but glad that no one else booked any flights here that I know of yet. You guys should've booked The Masquerade instead of The Roxy initially, a far better turnout would've happened, MUCH better club IMO, would've filled the place up more. I DO however wish you guys a successful, happy, eventful, and productive tour and a prosperous '07. Maybe later in the year you'll make it back here. Peace and Love to you all.

You have to pass thru NY to get to NJ (ok not the city but you are passing through the state to get to NJ).Whatta say?

"Doesn't anyone remember laughter?"
Hi Steve,
Would you consider playing two songs that weren't on the album besides "Go On" & "Loophole?" I am speaking of "Ashes" & "Unholy Ghost." Ashes is personally one of my favorite songs besides "Night One." I really wish it made it onto the record and honestly was suprised no one brought it up to be played on the tour. You & myself know Dave thinks "Ashes" has a "Lumbering" quality to it, but please play it at the Long Beach show for all the die hard fans (myself) who actually made it to all the Dragonfly shows. My tour songlist goes as follows:
Teahouse Of The Spirits
Said You'd Be
Outsider
Ashes *
Bloody Mary (Both Versions - Old to be played for encore)
Left To Lose
Night One (From Planchette)
Unholy Ghost *
Go On *
Why Cry
Loophole *
She Won't Last
Awake
Fireflies (From Planchette)
Blue Bruises
Listen
Lie Next to Me
Dazed & Confused
Please consider this for the "Long Beach" show & other shows on the tour thank you in advance Steve!
Much love & respect,
Andrew

Steve
are ya nervous/excited/cautious at the crowd sizes you'll be playing to on the SN tour,it must seem like a huge step up from the small gigs TPC have done so far, plus also your in the supporting role for SN,not headlining like ya have been in the small venue.
Hope you guys make it to the UK some time in the not too distant future.

Steve, you need to check your private msg's @ the Asylum bro! Hope to see you in Baltimore (It's BEYOND rad that you guy's are doing one of your few club gig's in Bmore.) NO ONE play's Bmore, always D.C./NY/D.C/NY... thanks for breaking bad with the proverbial and giving a rock town a dirty club show. I know there's some people from NY who seem agitated they're not getting a club show (as of now at least), but share the wealth NYers! You guy's get ALL the special gig's, and you get Camp Freddy... we don't get anything!
Posted by: Adam | January 14, 2007 12:59 PM
Hey Adam...as a disgruntled NY'er ;-) We don't get as much as you think.
Camp Freddy 3x (once in 03, 04 and 06. Not a great ratio) EVER and one out of the three was a private event(though the 3 songs they did do outside on the marquee in the middle of Times Square was pretty cool).
With the state of the current music industry and the fact that smaller music venues in NYC are closing left and right we get gipped A LOT! We got TPC...ONCE in May at the Avalon. So seeing them at Radio Shitty 1/31 and that's IT is a bit of a let down.

Steve-
You guys should try to give us an update from the road. How's the tour going from your perspective? I am SO STOKED I'll be seeing you guys again tomorrow night!!!!

Steve, just read a review from someone from Lukas' board, they LOVED you guys! See?
"Ok, then Panic Channel...I cannot say enough about this band you guys...they seriously knocked my socks off (well, at least my shoes!) The singer is absolutely amazing, probably the best singer i have ever heard. I am buying their album today, and I don't buy CD's. Dave looked hot, no shirt, black tight pants, and a cool hat...they sang probably 6 or 7 songs also, and ended with Highway to Hell...unbelievable! I caught the drummer's drum stick...well, toworreed and i fought over it a bit, but it's in my car now!! Really talented band, and not at all the kind of music i thought it would be, not near as heavy...really good...check them out, please"
DUDE! Keep it up, blow them ALL out of the water!
See you in NYC.
Love,
Sue

Steve, if you have a "Canadian curiousity", might I suggest you get yourself a copy of the SCTV comedy series now on DVD. It's one of our (Canada's) finest exports. Great fun while you're touring and have some time to kill. Rock on, eh?!
