Back Home in L.A.

Hello there my friends. Back home in Los Angeles, pulling my world back together after the tour. I stopped posting right after the tour started but kept on documenting it. Once my head stops spinning I'm gonna post up the videos, blogs, and pics from the last six weeks. It became pretty apparent after the tour began that posting everything I was recording would take a lot of time away from actually experiencing the tour, so I saved it til now. We had an amazing time, and thanks to everyone we met on the road, and who came to see us, and all the new friends and fans we made. I'm still in a screwed up nocturnal state, but am acclimating to civilian life nicely.
My cat is still alive, no one stole my car, and weather here is predictably perfect. I sure miss rainy Portland, though. There is so much to tell you all, and I'll do my best to give a proper download in the next few days/weeks. That and catch up with American Idol, and go see Zodiac soon. All my best to you!

Hello Steve,
My name is Julia and I am a current "Arts & Entertainment" and "Features" writer for the RHS Patriot, a newspaper run in Revere, MA. We are located about 15 minutes from Boston. I have interviewed such artists as Michael Tolcher, Marty Casey (of Rockstar INXS & of The Lovehammers) and have plans to interview Les Hall and Howie Day in the future.
I am interested in conducting an interview with you (either in-person or via telephone) for our publication.
Some guidelines are as follows:
- A telephone or in-person interview is preferred, but if neither of those are possible, just let me know and we can definitely work something else out.
- I would also prefer to record our (telephone/in-person) conversation via recorder so that I am able to quote your words accurately when I transfer the interview to an article. If this is a problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.
- This interview would not have to take place on a specific date or time, I can definitely work with whatever days/times you have available.
I can also provide you with a selection of my previous articles (in document format) via e-mail or I can send you a hardcopy of the paper itself, whichever you prefer.
If you have any questions, concerns, or if there is something that I didn't acknowledge, please feel free to let me know.
I completely understand if this request is not possible, but a response would be greatly appreciated asap either way.
Thank you for your time,
Julia

Looking forward to your recap of the journey and any photos and videos you might share with us.
I can relate to your reasons for not posting everything as you went. It's the same reason I took fewer pictures of you guys at the last show. Sometimes you have to make a choice to either document the moment or experience the moment.
Glad you are home safe & all is well.

The man has returned ... and that makes me smile. Glad to hear that you had an amazing time out on the road (even though we all knew that you would) and I can't friggin wait to see / hear all of it. I'm bouncy with anticipation!
Oh yeah, and come back to the east coast asap. We already miss you over here.

Welcome back! Miss your wisdoms and humor but will look forward to the unfolding posts. Really glad the cat survived your absence. Does your cat punish you for going away or become like cat magnet superglue- not allowing you out of sight, blocking view of TV, newspaper, books computer and everything else?

We missed you! Can't wait to see the videos and pics!

I can't wait to see it all! I wish the tour wasn't over. I'd bet you do too. I'm sure it's like slamming on the brakes. I'm sure there's more to look forward to just around the corner, so hang in there and treasure the downtime.
A special request: When you start uploading, could you please upload the shot of the agents you took outside Radio City to flickr, or drop me an email? You're the only one who captured the moment, and the group of us would love to see it!
Click your heels three times...
Spreading the love,
Deena

Steve,
What an amazing show in Baltimore, I was blown away more than the previous show I saw in DC during the Spring 2006 tour. I hope your re-entry goes smoothly and your head stops swirling!
I was also very inspired by Obama's announcement speech and you posting it the next day made it that much better! Thanks for all that you do to make this world a more interesting place..

Basically, all ya need to know about American Idol is that Blake Lewis is the best guy, and Malinda is the best girl. I'm rooting for Blake. His "beats is phat," as they say. Hehem.

Hi
I just wanna ask if I could use the TPC logo for a tattoo design, I've tried to reach you befor. I understand that your very busy but still I need your approval. I can show you what it looks like when it's done.
I will not do the tattoo desing if anyone from the band don't want me to. I just thinks it fun to desing tattoos and your logo gave me an IdeƩ, but I need your approval. thatx for your time
All the best
Love Alex.

Steve, hey, it was great to re-meet you last night. Hope you had a great St. Patty's; I believe we did, but am not sure, some parts are a little hazy near the end. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for good conversation and being a great barstool neighbor. Well, here's to you and yours, and your band of compadres.
Peace,
