Halo 3: Starting the Finish of the Fight
So it begins... well tonight that is. I was all excited for Halo 3's release on Tuesday - had my copy on pre-order, walked over to the EB Games on Broadway and got it Tuesday first thing, and was all set to go lose myself in bleary-eyed obsessive deathmatching that night. Well, some life stuff got in the way (damn you felony convictions!), and I've had to postpone my infantile obsession until tonight.
Oh yes, NOW it's on. I plan to visit my friend Conor's Brooklyn loft and gaze in awe at his giant wall projection surround sound system. He hasn't joined live yet, and he and I were just brainstorming via IM possible Xbox Live gamer tags. Here are some of the gems from that thread: "Gas Basket", "Khan Turkey", "Charley Whores", "Nasty Infection", "Whiney Virgin", "Shoulda Gonetocollege", "Sebastian Lemery", "Actually Havehadsex", "A Grownup", "Old Enough To Beat Up Your Dad", and "Chicks Laughatyou". He's leaning toward "Space Herpes". So there's that.
My gamertag is "steveisaacs" if you want to add me and say hello (thereby exposing your position and making you vulnerable to my wrath). Also, check out this most wonderfully superior MIT campus prank involving a Master Chief modded statue....

My boyfriend bought it on Tuesday. I think he's all played out cos he has mastered it already. So he tells me.
I don't think he has played it live. That sounds like fun.
